The Marin epitomises the core attributes of Scandinavian design, where optimal functionality and no-fuss simplicity is matched by the highest standards of Swiss manufacturing.

The 43,9mm stainless steel case, embellished with TIDLÖS' own iconic cloudberry shaped crown, houses a customized automatic movement that can be marvelled at through the exhibition/open sapphire crystal back. The sapphire crystal covering the dial ensures maximum protection from scratches, whilst the date and unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel track the passage of time and the Super-Luminova hands and new streamlined hour markers provide optimum legibility.

The durability and toughness of this watch is perfectly reflected in its prowess underwater, being water-resistant to 500M with a screw-down crown and a helium escape valve, therefore enabling deep-water diving. With a choice of an arctic blue, verdant green, pristine white (with a choice of blue or black bezel), bold black or wicked black carbon dial (the latter sporting a gunmetal coated case), the Marin comes dressed in either a rubber strap or stainless steel bracelet and is the perfect watch for those looking for a robust and intrepid companion.

Ceramic

The TIDLÖS ceramic bezel starts as a powder which is mixed with binding agents at an extremely high temperature, forming an incredibly dense, inorganic non-metallic material. It's lighter, harder wearing and more scratch-resistant than a stainless steel bezel and will maintain its lustre and appearance for many decades.

Stainless Steel

316L Stainless steel is known for being the most popular material in watchmaking. It offers strength, beauty and is acknowledged for its high lustre after polishing and incredible corrosion resistance. It's why TIDLÖS watches are made with marine grade steel that has been used in watchmaking for decades and is ideal for challenging adventures both on land and at sea.

Sapphire Crystal

In order to appreciate the dial in all its glory, the glass that covers and protects the dial is a synthetic, sapphire crystal, made by crystallizing pure aluminium oxide at extremely high temperatures. The crystal has the same hardness as naturally occurring sapphires but has none of the colouring agents that give the gems their various hues. The result is a material that is graded 9 on the Mohs-hardness scale (graded 1-10), with only Diamonds scoring higher at 10. That is why the sapphire crystal on the TIDLÖS watch is virtually scratch-proof, thereby ensuring an unhindered clarity at all times.

Tidlös is here to stay and redefine what economical luxury means

Forbes

It is hard to do justice to the story behind this brand.

With a solid Swiss movement, ceramic bezel, and a 500m depth rating, toughness is a given.
